The bench is where the store actually begins.
Dave didn't open Schmidt's to sell instruments. He opened it because the schools needed someone to fix the horns. Forty-plus years later, every horn that leaves the store still comes through the back room first; checked, cleaned, set up, and signed off.

Sheet music
The largest sheet music selection on the Gulf Coast.
Method books, solos, ensemble parts, festival rep, and the obscure piece your director swears is in print. If we don't have it on the shelf, we'll find it.

A community institution, here to help.
We sponsor the Pensacola Symphony Youth Orchestra. We service the horns of more than forty middle and high school band programs across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida, as well as Escambia and Baldwin counties in Alabama. The kids who started on rental clarinets here grew up to play in those orchestras, that's the whole point.
